Jasgam

The Jasgam, is a tribe in Pothohar region of Punjab, Pakistan. They originated from the Dhund Abbasi having migrated into the potohar region from the Murree area. They are descendants of the Abassid General Zarab Khan, head of the military forces in Khurasan before the collapse of the Caliphate. They lived in Kahuta near Rawalpindi, where he is buried and his grave is marked.
Locality
This tribe is found near Panjar in the Kahuta, Rawalpindi Mandrah Soura Khtril Gujar Khan and Qazian in Gujar Khan.
Headmen
A family which was rewarded for its services in 1857 in Salitta is head of the clan.
