Jared Brossett

Jared Christopher Brossett is state representative for Louisiana House District 97, having won a special election to the seat on 2009 May 2.[1] Born 1982, he is the son of Brenda M. Brossett and Elery Michael Brossett.[2]
A graduate of McDonogh 35 Senior High School in New Orleans, Brossett holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Xavier University of Louisiana. He is a member of the Orleans Democratic Parish Executive Committee.[3] Even though Brossett's election occurred midway during the 2009 regular session of the Louisiana Legislature, he was quick to become active in the body.[4]
As of 2012 Brossett is in a relationship. Outside the legislature he works as a consultant.[5]
