Japhet Isidro Amador (born January 19, 1987 in Mulege, Mexico) is a Mexican professional baseball first baseman and designated hitter who is in the Houston Astros organization.
Early career
Amador had played in the Mexican league since 2007 before signing with the Houston Astros. He last played for the Diablos Rojos del México. In 2012 he hit 34 Homeruns. On August 18, 2013 the Astros signed him assigned him to the triple-A Oklahoma City RedHawks.[1] The Astros then assigned him to the AFL to the Peoria Javelinas.[2]
