January Joy is the debut album by American singer Mashonda, released in Japan only in November 2005 via J Records and Full Surface Records. The album features tracks, produced by Swizz Beatz and Kanye West, including two singles: "Back Of Da Club" and "Blackout". The album was scrapped in the U.S. because of early leaks and failure of the project's two singles. The album never charted,[2] and was subsequently deleted.
