Janel Mueller

Janel Mueller is an American academic.
She is the William Rainey Harper Professor in English Language & Literature at University of Chicago and Dean of the Division of Humaniites.[1] She is an expert on the writings of Catherine Parr, the first woman to publish under her own name in English, including Psalms or Prayers, Prayers or Meditations and Lamentation of a Sinner.[2] In 1972, she was awarded the Guggenheim Fellowship.
