Jane S. Shaw

Jane S. Shaw is an American free-market environmentalist, editor, and journalist. She is the President of the John W. Pope Center for Higher Education Policy,[1] and has served as a Senior Fellow of the Property and Environment Research Center[2][3] as well as President of the Association of Private Enterprise Education.[4]

Shaw is a member of the Advisory Council of the London-based Institute of Economic Affairs[5] and of the Board of Visitors of Ralston College,[6] a senior editor of the on-line cultural and political journal Liberty,[7] an editorial advisor to the on-line journal Econ Journal Watch,[8] and a member of the Editorial Advisory Board of Regulation,[9] a magazine relating to public policy published by the Cato Institute.[10] She is in addition a Trustee of the Philadelphia Society. She is married to the economist Richard Stroup.
