Prior to 2007 Hague was easily reelected four times with little or no opposition. In June 2007, she was cited for suspicion of Driving under influence. She pleaded guilty to a lesser charge and publicly apologized to her constituents, fellow council members, and police.[3] Despite the controversy she won reelection by 17 points; 57% to 40%. [4]

Hague serves as Vice Chair of the Council. [5]
