Jampaw is a village in Hsawlaw Township in Myitkyina District in the Kachin State of north-eastern Burma.[1]

Jampaw is the name of a band based near London, UK. Born in London 1984, Jampaw consists of identical twin brothers Joe and Matt Ashford and singer Jon Schaaf. Having had some success writing music for websites, dance shows and visual art, they have now produced two albums, the first; ‘The Creation’ released in 2010 and the second; 'Stop, Rewind, Paws' released in 2012.
