Jamie Whyte

Jamie Whyte is a management consultant, philosopher and politician. He was born in New Zealand, but has lived for a long time in the United Kingdom.[1] He is the leader of ACT New Zealand.

Career

Whyte was formerly a lecturer in philosophy at Cambridge University. He has written numerous articles for The Times newspaper, and books including Bad Thoughts[2] Free Thoughts (a collection of various articles) and Quack Policy.[3]

Politics

On 2 February 2014, he beat former MP John Boscawen for the leadership of the ACT Party.[4]
