James Ockenden (born c.1885) was an English professional golfer.
Ockenden finished seventh in the 1914 Open Championship,[1] his best finish in a major. He had his greatest run of success in the early 1920s, which included a win at the 1923 Open de France and a runner-up finish at the 1924 Texas Open. In 1947 and 1948, his son was the runner-up at the South African PGA Championship.
