James Edward McKnight (born June 17, 1972 in Apopka, Florida) is a former American football wide receiver in the National Football League. He played for the Seattle Seahawks (1994–1998), the Dallas Cowboys (2000), Miami Dolphins (2001–2003), and the New York Giants (2004). He spent the 1999 season on injured reserve. McKnight played college football at Liberty University. He now coaches the Cypress Bay High School wide receivers and Track Team.
He is the father of David McKnight, who played running back for Cypress Bay High School and is currently playing at Tiffin University.
