James Marquand

James Marquand is a Welsh film editor and director. As a child, much of his time was spent on film sets observing his father Richard Marquand (Jagged Edge, Return of the Jedi). Later, he worked as an editor on the Joe Eszterhas (Basic Instinct, Showgirls) penned Hearts of Fire. His first short film, The Lesson (1998), was nominated for a BAFTA Kodak Award. He has since moved onto feature films. He wrote, directed, and produced his first film, Dead Man's Cards. He also co-wrote and produced the feature I Against I to be released in 2010 and is working on a film called Whores with Guns. He is also directing a film called "One Night in Istanbul" currently in pre-production.
