James Likeness is an American graphic designer and musician from Hawaii. He first gained prominence as the bass player and backing vocalist for the Florida-based indie rock band Copeland, who formed in 2001. After leaving the band in 2007 to pursue a career in graphic design,[1] Likeness went on to become the designer for Florida non-profit To Write Love on Her Arms.[2]

Likeness also does freelance graphic design under the company name TiredChildren.[3] TiredChildren has created CD packaging, poster art, web design, and merchandise design for artists such as Copeland, Anberlin, The Rocket Summer, hellogoodbye, Danger Radio and We Shot The Moon.

Likeness' personal interests include, but are not limited to; designing fashionable dresses for women of all ages, collecting My Little Ponies, eating strawberries, jogging, watching Oprah, playing the trumpet, and advocating for the rights of orphaned dolphins. He also avidly breeds Chinese Crested Puppies, and keeps several that he named after the cast of Space Jam.

In 2006 Likeness married Brooke Adams, a model, known for her shocking beauty. Adams' interests include; jet skiing, whittling, being a nail technician on the weekends, and she's particularly interested in urology.

Likeness and Adams are close friends with actor David Spade, after taking a beginners jazz dance class together in 1998.
