James Eber Caldwell

James Eber "Jim" Caldwell (born 20 July 1943 in Ottawa, Ontario) was a Progressive Conservative party member of the Canadian House of Commons. He was a broadcaster by career and host of the locally broadcast "Agriscope".
Caldwell was first elected in the Essex—Kent electoral district in the 1984 federal election. He left federal politics after serving in the 33rd Canadian Parliament after his defeat to Jerry Pickard of the Liberal party in the 1988 federal election.
