Jacob Stephen "Jake" Varner (born March 24, 1986) is a male wrestler from United States. He won the gold medal in the 96 kg category at the 2012 Summer Olympics.[1][2][3]
Varner is four-time NCAA Division One finalist, two-time NCAA Division One champion (junior and senior) and two-time California State wrestling champion for Bakersfield High School, where his father was the head coach.
