Jake Charlie Nicholson (born 19 July 1992) is an English footballer who last played for Greenock Morton in the Scottish Championship. He was previously a product of the West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur youth academies. He has also represented England at under-19 level.

Career

He spent time on loan at Finnish club MyPa until July 2011.[2] Nicholson made his senior debut for Spurs in the second leg of the UEFA Europa League qualification play-off against Hearts on 25 August 2011, coming on as a substitute for Jake Livermore in the second half.[3] In June 2013, he was released by Tottenham[4] subsequently joining Greenock Morton in November 2013[5] in a move made thanks to his friendship with English actor Tamer Hassan.[6]

International career

He made his under-19 debut on 8 February 2011 against Germany in Chesterfield, replacing George Thorne of West Brom in the 74th minute.[7]
