Jacob Greer "Jake" Cohen is an American/Israeli professional basketball player for Maccabi Tel Aviv of the Israeli Super League. Cohen was the two-time Southern Conference Player of the Year as both a junior and senior.

College career

Cohen, a 6'10" power forward from Conestoga High School in Pennsylvania, came to Davidson in the 2009–10 season and quickly joined the starting lineup. He became the first freshman to lead Davidson in scoring since All-American Stephen Curry, averaging 13.3 points per game. He was named Southern Conference freshman of the year by the league's media.

As a junior, Cohen scored 14.3 points and 6.1 rebounds per game and was named Southern Conference player of the Year by the league's media.[1] In an unusual move, Cohen's teammate De'Mon Brooks was named player of the year by the league's coaches.[2]

Professional career

Cohen was not drafted in the 2013 NBA Draft, but was signed to the Phoenix Suns summer league team immediately following the draft.[3]

He signed a contract with Maccabi Tel Aviv in 2013.[4]

International career

Cohen represented Israel in the 2010 FIBA Europe Under-20 Championship Division B in Austria in 2010.[5]
