Jahmī (Arabic: جهمي) was a pejorative term used especially by early Hanbalites to refer to the followers of Jahm ibn Safwan (d. 128/746).[1] It may also refer to Mutazilites, Ash'aris, Maturidis creeds especially in Salafi writings.
