Jade Arcade (born October 27, 1971) is an American composer, animator, musician, polymath and comic book artist.

Career

Music

Arcade has mastered over a dozen instruments and possesses a vocal range that spans 6 octaves. During the 1980s, Jade toured across the US with glam rock bands Spellbinder and Monogram under the stage name of Nikki Foxx. He also toured solo as country singer, Marc Dalton. His music scores films and videos while his vocal talents have added multiple voices to videos and animation.

Art

Arcade is the creator of the Mr. Dodsworth cartoon series and the Circus Arcane[1] comics, and has been working as graphic illustrator since 1988. His work has appeared in magazines, graphic novels, comics and role-playing books such as Horrorzine (1988), Fantasy Theater (2001), Omlevex (2004), Cartoon Action Hour (2002) and Mothman Anthology (2005).[2]

Arcade is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers & Illustrators (SCBWI). In 2010, he launched a new podcast, "The Jade Arcade Show"[3] Arcade also works in graphite, ink, oil paint, sculpture, engraving and water color.
