Jacob Artist (born October 17, 1992)[3] is an American actor, singer and dancer. He joined the cast of the Fox television series Glee in the fourth season as Jake Puckerman, half-brother of regular character Noah "Puck" Puckerman.[4]
Early life
Jacob was born to Darrell and Judith Artist[5] in Williamsville, New York. His father is African American; his mother is of Polish descent.[6] He has a younger sister.[7][5] He grew up dancing, and at the end of high school, he was accepted into Juilliard for dancing. However, he turned it down to pursue his acting career.
