Jackson Kelly or KE is a lighter version of Gibson Explorer produced by Jackson Guitars. It was designed by and named after Bradford Kelly, guitarist for Australian heavy metal band Heaven in the early '80s.[1] It was later more popularized by Megadeth's ex-guitarist Marty Friedman who had his own signature model at the time; "The KE1".

Kelly features a Solid body. Today, it's available in many models, some including a Floyd Rose bridge and some with a "string-through-body system".[2]

Kelly also comes with Jackson stock pickups in JS series and with Seymour-Duncan humbucker pickups in Japanese and USA series.[3]
