Jack Hingert (born 26 September 1990) is an English-Australian football (soccer) player who plays as a defender for A-League club Brisbane Roar.

Early life

Hingert was born in London, England and attended Woodcote High School in Coulsdon, London.[1] He moved to Australia as a teenager, settling in Melbourne, Victoria and attended Wesley College in Glen Waverley, Melbourne.[2]

Club career

He spent time at the youth academy of Crystal Palace [3] before joining Knox City in the Victorian State League.[3] In 2008 moved to Peterborough United. He returned to Australia in 2009 and played for Dandenong Thunder in the Victorian Premier League.[4]

In July 2009, he joined North Queensland Fury[5][6] and appeared 11 times over the next two seasons before returning to Dandenong Thunder in 2011 during the A-League off-season. In July 2011, he signed a two-year contract with Brisbane Roar.[7]
