John G. "Jack" Hewson (September 7, 1924 – June 26, 2012) was an American professional basketball player.[1] Hewson was selected in the 1947 BAA Draft by the Boston Celtics after a collegiate career at Temple.[1] He played for the Celtics for just the 1947–48 season before ending his BAA career.[1]

Hewson was raised in Waldwick, New Jersey and attended Ramsey High School. As part of the V-12 Navy College Training Program during World War II, Hewson attended Muhlenberg College, Bucknell College and Temple University.[2]
