Oh Ji-Min (Hangul: 오지민; born on May 27, 1988), most known by her stage name J-Min (Hangul: 제이민, Japanese: ジェイミン), is a South Korean singer-songwriter and actress mostly active in Japan under the labels of SM Entertainment and Nayutawave Records (and formerly with Avex Group[1]).

Biography

J-Min was born in Seoul, South Korea. She can speak three languages, her native Korean, Japanese, and English. J-Min names her favorite artists as Kasabian, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Chick Corea, and Michelle Branch.

In 2007, she debuted in Japan with her first mini-album Korogaru Ringo (ころがる林檎).

She recently performed two songs at SMTown Live World Tour III. "One" and "Stand Up" for the OST of the hit drama To The Beautiful You.
