János Bencsik (born July 31, 1965)[1] is a Hungarian politician, who served as Mayor of Tatabánya from 1990 to 2010. He was appointed State Secretary for Climate Change and Energy in the Ministry of National Development on December 12, 2010.[2] He announced his resignation on December 2, 2011.[3] He was replaced by Pál Kovács.
He is a member of the National Assembly (MP) since 1998. He represents Tatabánya (Komárom-Esztergom County Constituency I) since May 14, 2010.[2] He is a member of the Economic and Information Technology Committee since December 30, 2011.[2]
