Iván Alexis Pillud (born 24 April 1986 in Capitán Bermúdez, Santa Fe) is an Argentine footballer who plays for Racing Club de Avellaneda in the Argentine Primera División on loan from RCD Espanyol, as a right defender.

Football career

Pillud began his playing career in 2005 in the Argentine second division with Tiro Federal. In 2008, loaned, he made his top level debut, with Newell's Old Boys.

In July 2009, Pillud joined Spanish side RCD Espanyol, appearing scarcely during his debut season, his debut coming on 30 August, in a 0–1 loss at Athletic Bilbao.

For the 2010–11 season, Pillud was loaned back to his country, joining Racing Club de Avellaneda.[1]
