Ituverava

Geography
It is located in the north region of São Paulo state, with an altitude of 605 meters. The population was estimated in approximately 40,000 people. It has an area of 697.8 km².
Economy
The city's economy is based mainly on agriculture. There are farms and industries with high technology. The economy of the city grews very fastly.
History
The story goes back to Ituverava Bandeirantes, then the flow of occupation of the central-western Brazil, where a post was established to supply and appeared to tropeiros a small community of landowners. At the beginning of its foundation by Ensign John Alves de Figueiredo, 16 July 1818, when construction of the Chapel of Caramel, the region was part of the "Old Way of Goiás. On March 10, 1885, was elevated to the category of council and no longer the District of Peace of Our Lady of Caramel of the Emperor of France, to be Ituverava in Tupi, "Salto Brilliant."
From the tracks left by the Bandeirantes, based up the paths of railroads and then the roads, with the expansion of coffee culture. Today, little remains of its original architecture, there were some old houses, the museum and the Church of Our Lady of the Rosary of Black Men, built by the slaves in 1820 and attended the season for them.

Within tourism, the city has the Museum, the Cultural Center, the Our Lady of Caramel Church, Our Lady of the Rosary and St. John the Baptist, the Ten Square March, one of the most beautiful in the country, the Park Playground (where Salto waterfall is located Brilhante that called the city) and Paulo Borges pond, is part of the tourist Portinari Project.
The economy is predominantly agricultural, based on the cultivation of soybeans, corn, cotton and sugar cane. Presents a strong trade and service sector advanced. At 120 years, Ituverava trail a path of development, strengthening its roots in the region of Upper Mogiana, not as the warehouse of troops and travelers, but as a prosperous city and as its name says: brilliant.
