Islamia Park

Islamia Park is located in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. It is located in a residential area adjacent to one of the major residential Samanabad. The locality is surrounded by Chauburji, Miani Sahib graveyard and the Samanabad Drain.

This is a home to middle-class families, specialities are the desi food stuff. The Islamia Park Roundabout leads straight to the First Roundabout of Samanabad ("Pehla Goll Chakkar")

The area is predominantly inhabited and seen to by the prominent Qureshi family, whose entire extended family still resides on Fasih Rd, named after the head of the family. They are a famous family of writers and doctors, whose descendants span all the way to America. Noted Pakistani-American doctor Salwat Malik, daughter of famous writer Bint-Ul Islam (received the President's award for Women in Literature) and part of the Qureshi family, hails from Islamia Park. Her husband, fellow physician and surgeon, Safi Malik, hails from neighboring Samanabad. They currently reside in Olean, New York.
