Islam in Guinea-Bissau

Islam in Guinea-Bissau is the predominant religion of the country, numbering an estimated 50 percent[1] of its roughly 1.4 million citizens as followers. Approximately 40% are Sunni, 6% Shia and 2% Ahmadi while the majority of the rest do not identify themselves with a particular group.[2]
