Iris scissors

Iris scissors are small scissors originally designed for the fine detail work of ophthalmic surgery.[1] They may also have uses in other contexts, such as crafts. Both closed and open shank versions are available.[citation needed]

Description

Iris scissors are very small, with an extremely sharp and fine tip. Some iris scissors have curved blades for certain types of precision tasks, while others may have straight blades.[citation needed]
