Iris Reuben Adler Thomsen (born 1987) is a Danish professional dancer[1] and model[2] from Østerbro, Copenhagen, Denmark.[3] In 2012, she was crowned Miss World Denmark.[4] She then represented Denmark at the Miss World 2012 competition,[5] where she met Tara Teng, who was Miss World Canada; Jessica Baldachino, who was Miss Gibraltar; and Nives Orešnik, who was Miss Slovenia. These four women spent five weeks together at the competition, during which they bonded in their hotel while wearing tiaras and pyjamas. Teng invited Thompson, Baldachino, and Orešnik to visit her in Canada for a week.[6] All three accepted Teng's invitation and visited Teng in Vancouver, British Columbia in February 2013.[1] During their visit, they appeared on a telethon run by Variety, and they also visited some of Teng's other favourite charitable organizations, including Deborah's Gate, a safe house operated by The Salvation Army. The four also participated in the Women's Memorial March on Valentine's Day.[6]
