"Irgendwie, irgendwo, irgendwann" is a 1984 song by Nena which was a commercial success in Europe. Due to the success many cover versions of this song appeared, including samples as well as other languages.
The song is about love.
At the beginning of the music video itself a garage door opens and Nena emerges and runs through spider webs. She goes to a car in another scene, people running and snap it. Nena then goes through a pyramid and sees a mummy awakened by Nena touch to life. When Nena in a later scene sits in the car, soldiers pass through the area and one of them joins her. In cutscenes Nena performs the song with some studio musicians. Later, a guy runs in front of a dragon with the wheels and away to safety after he weighs in front of him, Nena comes to him. After this, Nena is seen as a samurai, when they sneak nearly falls into a hole and is rescued by the guy. Before the end of the clip a few excerpts of the video will be shown again. The scenes in which Nena presents the song are taken from a live concert. The video was shot in the middle of Germany 1984.[1]

In 1999 Jan Delay with Denyo and Beginner covered this song for the compilation album Das gibt's nur einmal of the TV project Pop 2000 by ARD and Viva. Just like the original this cover was also successful in Germany. Unlike the original, this version also contains a rap verse.
The music video was filmed on a beach, starting with Jan Delay with a dog in his arms, and some women. While he performs the song, you can see fish and a couple of women swimming in the water. They also keep a few signs up showing among other things 77 and Nazis out. At the end of a radio clips will be thrown into the water.[2]

Anyplace, Anywhere, Anytime is an English/German-language variant of "Irgendwie, irgendwo, irgendwann". An all-English version was included on the English-language version of the album Feuer und Flamme, entitled It's All in the Game, but was never released as a single.
In 2002, Nena recorded a new album celebrating her twenty years in music entitled Nena feat. Nena and recorded a new version of the song with British singer Kim Wilde. The video was recorded in and around Change Alley, London EC3. It was partly recorded in English and partly in German.
It was a best-selling hit all over the European continent, but was not released in the UK.
