Ireland Eliesse Baldwin (born October 23, 1995) is an American fashion model. She is the daughter of actors Kim Basinger and Alec Baldwin. She is noted for her height of 6 ft 2 in (1.88 m) and known for her frequent use of social-networking site Twitter.[3]

Personal life

Ireland Baldwin was born in Los Angeles, California, as the only child of actress Kim Basinger and first child and daughter of actor Alec Baldwin. Through her father she is also the niece of Stephen, Daniel, and William Baldwin. Her half-sister, Carmen Gabriela Baldwin, was born on August 23, 2013.

At age 11 in 2007, she gained recognition in the news after her father Alec Baldwin left her an angry voicemail message which became publicized. His subsequent public apology and a deeper look into their relationship ensued.[4]

Career

Baldwin signed with IMG Models in March 2013.[2] In April 2013, Baldwin made her modeling debut in a swimwear editorial for the New York Post.[5][6] In May 2013, Baldwin appeared W Magazine's It Trend, It Girl feature.[7] Baldwin was Vanity Fair's It Girl in June 2013, and was photographed by Patrick Demarchelier for the issue.[8] Elle interviewed Baldwin in their September 2013 issue.[9][10] The editorial accompanying the interview was photographed by Thomas Whiteside and styled by Joe Zee.[11] She appeared in an editorial for DuJour magazine photographed by Bruce Weber.[12] Baldwin made her acting debut in the 2013 film Grudge Match, playing a younger version of Kim Basinger's character, Sally in flashback scenes.[13]
