Ionian Ferries is a Greece-based ferry company got established in 1993, as a company of popular base with shareholders the residents of Zante to completely cover the transportation needs of the island . Today, with a fleet of five ferries it also serves the coasting needs of the neighbouring island, Cefalonia. Currently, there are three shareholders: Tyrogalas Ferries and ANMEZ with two ships each, and the new addition in 2013 of ANEZ with one ship. Zante Ferries also operates indepentendly the ship Adamantios Korais in Aegean Sea.
