Ioanna Yiannakou or (Ioánna Giannakoú); (born 1992) is a Cyprus beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Cyprus 2012 2nd runner-up and will represent her country at the 2012 Miss Universe pageants. The original winner Ntaniella Kefala was replaced by Ioánna Giannakoú.

Early life

Ioanna was born in the coastal city of Paphos. She enjoys reading, exercising and spending time with family and friends. Ioanna currently is studying at the European University Cyprus. One day she hopes to work in either aesthetics or acting.

Star Cyprus 2012

Ntaniélla Kefála, 19, 1.71m-tall, from Paralimni, was crowned Star Cyprus 2012 at the conclusion of the 2012 Cyprus Official Beauty Contest. She will represent Cyprus in Miss Universe 2012 next December.

Georgia Georgiou, 21, 1.74m-tall, from Limassol, was crowned Miss Cyprus 2012 at the same event held in Nicosia. She will represent Cyprus in Miss World 2012 in Ordos, Inner Mongolia, China, on August 18.

Tzouliána Georgallídou was the first runner-up and Ioánna Giannakoú was the second runner-up.

Designations

The original winner of Miss Cyprus is Ntaniella Kefala, she was replaced by Ioánna Giannakoú.
