Intrinsic is the second studio album by progressive metal band The Contortionist, released through E1/Good Fight Music on July 17, 2012.
Release and promotion
On May 30, 2012, the band revealed the album title and artwork; they also announced pre-order bundles for Intrinsic. The first single, "Holomovement", was released digitally on June 11, 2012. The band also released a video of the song with animated lyrics. On July 17, 2012, the band has released a video for the song Causality.
