Internet Killed TV

Internet Killed Television is a web series which documents the lives of Charles and Alli Trippy, and their dogs Zoey and Marley.[1][2]

The show consists of episodes averaging around ten minutes that are filmed, edited, and then aired every day onto YouTube. The series was originally planned to last for only one year; however, after first season, the couple decided to continue and entered the Guinness Book of Records for the most consecutive daily video blogs.

Production

The show is currently shot with a Canon PowerShot ELPH 330 HS,[3] and sometimes a Canon EOS 7D or an iPhone 5S or where the digital cameras are not available. The couple also occasionally films using a GoPro. Trippy has also used a Flip UltraHD camcorder, Canon ELPH model's SD4500 IS, Powershot 300 HS, Powershot 110 HS, and older models of the iPhone. The series is edited using Apple's Final Cut Pro 7 on a MacBook Pro. Charlie Puth composed the show's early theme songs, and viewers have contributed their own versions. YouTube musicians Dubble Kick Rick and TeraBite have also created the most used theme. The theme song currently features a collaboration of Travis Clark of We The Kings and TeraBrite. The theme song has changed several times including one to celebrate the Trippys' wedding. The show also employs a 'title card', which others have contributed to the show—usually featuring the show's logo - and plays at the beginning of each episode. As of December 21st, 2013, there has been a combined total of 1,259,713 subscribers and 464,944,029 video views.[4]
