She has been playing for Kolbotn since 2007.

She was called up to be part of the national team for the UEFA Women's Euro 2013.[1] She scored her first goal for Norway in a 1–0 victory against Germany in Euro 2013, which actually was the German's first loss in a UEFA Euro match since 1993.[2] Ingvild had a great tournament in the UEFA Women's Euro 2013 and started every match except the final where she was benched on the behalf of Cathrine Dekkerhus.
