Inga Muscio (born c. 1966), is an American feminist, anti-racist writer and public speaker.[1][2]

She became famous after the publication of her 1998 Seal Press book Cunt: A Declaration of Independence,[3][4] which called for women to break down boundaries between themselves and their bodies, and each other.

She is also the author of the book Autobiography of a Blue-Eyed Devil: My Life and Times in a Racist Imperialist Society, (published by Seal Press in 2005) which examines and critiques white privilege, racism, colonialism among other issues.[2]

Her third book, Rose: Love in Violent Times (Seven Stories Press)[5] was released in November, 2010. It examines the presence of passive and physical violence in our daily lives and describes how we might find love within this violence.

The second oldest in a family of four, Muscio was born and raised in Santa Maria, California, attended The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington and currently lives in Seattle, Washington.
