Inga Leps

Inga Leps (Russian: Инга Григорьевна Лепсверидзе, Inga Grigorievna Lepsveridze), commonly known as Inga Leps, is a Russian actress and an art advisor. She has started her art career in 2005 in London, UK, after graduating from Sotheby's Institute of Art. After moving to New York in 2013 she made a vast career change and was accepted into The American Academy of Dramatic Arts.

Biography

Inga Leps was born Inga Lepsveridze in Sochi 23 December 1984, south of Russia to a Georgian father Grigory Leps and a Russian mother Svetlana Dubinskaya. She graduated high school in Sochi and soon after moved to London, UK to receive her higher education. She has been working with the world's leading auction houses such as Sotheby's Auction House in London and MacDougall's Fine Art Auction in Moscow; a number of prominent art galleries such as Volkhonka Fine Art in Moscow.[1]

In 2010 she established an art advisory Leps Art Advisory,[2] specialising on art investment as well as representation, support and promotion of young and emerging artists. Working closely with New York based Milavec Hakimi Art for two years, she successfully organised a number of pop up art shows in London for up and coming photographers and painters, including contemporary artists Paul Robinson and Rich Hendry.[3]

She has also participated and co-organized a series of events in London focusing on bringing the Russian community together by providing it with a variety of entertaining events, social gatherings and cultural and educational functions.[4] In 2012 she was invited to join a private Upper East Side art gallery Arader Galleries in New York.

Acting career

Inga Leps has landed her first acting role in an Independent Russian feature The Gateway, (Russian: 'Бегство') by Vladimir Uchaev.[5] In London she worked as a principal on several films with prominent film directors such as Tant Lay and Peter Williams.[6] Soon after she moved to New York she was invited to join The American Academy of Dramatic Arts and awarded a scholarship. She is currently completing her first year with the academy. She is represented by one of the largest talent agencies in the East Coast About Face Talent.

Family

Daughter of a Russian singer-songwriter Grigory Leps and Svetlana Dubinskaya.[7]

Under her full name Inga Lepsveridze she co-written and published a book on immigration employment in Great Britain - 'Work in Great Britain' (Russian: Работа в Великобритании) (together with Sergei Sander.[9])
