Infusion is an Australian electronica band from Wollongong who are known for their energetic live performances and long résumé of remixes. Founding members Jamie Stevens and Manuel Sharrad met in Wollongong, where they both went to high school. Though third member Frank Xavier also hails from Wollongong, the other two did not meet him until they had relocated to Sydney some time later. Manuel Sharrad is Infusion's vocalist. The band then signed on with local music identity Nathaniel Makaveli as their manager who then would shop them around to a long list of labels before signing with Thunk.

Originally signed to the Australian underground electronic label Thunk, over time the trio's music has gradually evolved from being not only aimed at the rave and club scenes, but widening in scope to also include traditional pop-song structures. This was demonstrated on their 2004 single "Girls Can Be Cruel" which received airplay on Australia's alternative music radio station Triple J. They have also released singles on Audio Therapy and Marine Parade. Infusion have played at nearly all of the major music festivals around the world, including the Glastonbury Festival, Roskilde Festival, the Meco Festival in Portugal, the Tshitraka Festival in Germany and Splendour in the Grass (all in 2004), the Big Day Out (in 2005 and 2009) and the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival and Creamfields Argentina (both in 2006). In December 2008, they played Homebake alongside Crowded House, PNAU, The Vines and Sneaky Sound System. In 2009, they were part of the Australian contingent at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas.

Infusion have won two ARIA Music Awards for best dance release; in 2004 for the single "Girls Can Be Cruel" and in 2005 for their first album for Sony BMG, Six Feet Above Yesterday. Their album All Night Sun Light was released on 7 July 2009 on their own independent label Futuresque. The song, "Dogtown" has been posted on their Myspace profile and is featured as a remix on the Ministry of Sound's Clubber's Guide 2009

Adam Freeland's remix of the track "Better World" appears on the 2005 video game Burnout Revenge.
