The Indianapolis Diesels, formerly known as the Indiana Diesels are a team of the Premier Basketball League set to play for its 2014 season in Indianapolis. Based in Indianapolis, the Diesels play their home games at the SportsZone Arena, located in the northwest suburbs of Indianapolis. with plans of Arena redevelopment and stadium expansion the near future. In their inaugural season, the Diesels were members of the American Basketball Association, finishing with an 8-4 record and defeating the West Virginia Blazers in the first round of the playoffs before losing to the Chicago Steam.
