India News is a Hindi language Indian TV news channel which is known for its strong content and wide network of proficient reporters and stringers.[1] The channel covers India with insight and has a vibrant presentation hence making it stand firm on the foundations of its motto, “Desh ki Dhadkan“. The Channel is run by Kartikeya Sharma. The Indian company Information TV (ITV) Media Group runs the channel.

India News Channel has roped in Deepak Chaurasia as the channel's Editor in Chief. The channel's market share growth rises from 4.5% to 8.4% (approx 90%) within 25 weeks.[2]

Popularity and growth

According to Television Audience Measurement (TAM) research, India News is the No. 1 Hindi news channel with maximum time spent per viewer and in No. 2 news channel in terms of gaining maximum viewership on counting day of Delhi Elections on 8 December 2013.[3]

India News has overtaken brands like NDTV 24x7, Zee News which have been into existence. However India News has overtaken most brands within a short span since its launch in February 2013.[4]
