Independence Power Plant

Independence Power Plant is a coal-fired power plant near Newark, Arkansas. The Plant has two units, rated at 850 MWe each, that were launched into service in 1983 and 1984.[1] The plant is owned by Arkansas Power & Light (a subsidiary of Entergy). It has a 305 meter tall chimney built in 1983.
