Inal is a village and rural commune in Mauritania.

Inal was very populated back in the 70’s in relative to fact that it was the entrance to Mauritania from Algeria and west Sahara but after “the immigration to the cities” Inal was left only with a few people who were born in the land, and because the city was abandoned, the tourists stopped coming.

It was only a ghost town until her new mayor came: cheikh Ali Baba, he was the one to bring the life back to the small town located in the state of nouadhibou.

He started by bringing power to the town that never knew what is like to have light without charging the batteries all day long through solar energy.

Than he rebuild the school that was ruined by the abandon that was put on it, than he brought the biggest company in the country (S.N.I.M) to help him rebuild the hospital from the aches that he were. And he did many more things that could not be counted.
