Important People is a 1934 British comedy film directed by Adrian Brunel and starring Stewart Rome, Dorothy Boyd and Jack Raine.[1] A bickering couple stand against each other as candidates in a local council election.
Production
The film was based on a play by F. Wyndham-Mallock. It was a quota quickie made at Wembley Studios by the independent producer George Smith under contract from MGM who distributed it to comply with the terms of the annual quota established by the British government.
