Iliana Ortega

Iliana Ortega (Born May 12 1981) is a Mexican artist. She lives and works in New York City. In 2011 she received an MFA from Yale School of Art and her BFA from University of Guanajuato in 2008. She was awarded the National Price of Artistic Creators FONCA Mexico 2006-07. She also received the First Place purchase award Diego Rivera XIII National Biennial 2008, among others. Ortega was formed as a painter now she specializes in photography.
