Ilene Busch-Vishniac is an American-born mechanical engineer and academic. Since 2007, she has been the provost and vice-president academic of McMaster University. In December 2011, she was selected as the ninth president of the University of Saskatchewan, replacing Peter MacKinnon. [1] She is married to astrophysicist Ethan Vishniac.
Her five-year term began July 2012.
