Ila Pant is an Indian politician and former member of Lok Sabha from Uttarakhand[1] state in India.
Early life
She was born in Nainital District on 10 March 1938. Ila has completed Bachelor of Arts from Allahabad University, Uttar Pradesh.
Personal life
She married to late Krishna Chandra Pant on 20 June 1957, a former Cabinet minister who was Bharatiya Janata Party leader. She is mother of two sons.
Politics
Pant joined Bharatiya Janata Party in 1991. She was elected 12th Lok Sabha members from Nainital constituency.
