Il Centro is an Italian local daily newspaper, based in Pescara, Italy.
History
It was founded in 1986, the first issue was published on 3 July. It was fully acquired by Gruppo Editoriale L'Espresso in 1993. Today the newspaper has the largest market share in Abruzzo (over 60%).
The editorial office in L'Aquila, Italy, was several damaged during the earthquake in 2009.
